We thank you for your cooperation in complying with the resort rules and considerations. Please help us to implement these rules and report any violations at the store. All guests, and/or visitors, must register at the store before entering the resort. Any violations of Sun Village Resort rules and considerations may lead to you, or your parties, being asked to leave the resort immediately.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, and will not be responsible for accidents or injuries to our guests, or for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.

RESORT INFORMATION
Quiet Hours

10:00pm to 7:00am.

This means, after 10pm, all music must be turned off and all voices must be held to a whisper. The resort does not allow excessively loud music during daylight hours. Failure to comply promptly with the quiet hour's rules may lead to the security personnel or owner requiring you to leave the resort with the aid of the county sheriff. If this happens you will not receive a refund on your deposit.

Pets

Please don’t bring your dog camping! But if you must, all dogs and pets must be on a leash at all times. The leash, tie-down, rope, or chain cannot be longer than 8 feet in length. Please clean up after your pet. We have installed pet pickup stations near most of our garbage dumpsters for your convenience—please use them. Please do not leave your pet unattended at any time. Grant County and state ordinances prohibit dogs or pets on or in the swimming area at any time. Any owner of a dog or pet that shows aggressive tendencies toward any person, or other pets in the resort area, will be asked to leave. Failure to comply promptly with the pet rules (leashes, cleanup, pets in or on the swimming area, or aggressive behavior of your pet) will lead to the owner of the pet being asked to leave the resort without refund.

Watercraft Safety

On the water surrounding the resort, there is a "no wake zone", including the entire Northern bay of the Blue Lake and the South end of Park Lake. The no-wake zones are clearly marked by floats or buoys. These no-wake zones apply to all watercraft of any type. The penalties for violation of the no-wake zones or other state and county boating safety laws are very costly. Life jackets are required for each person in your watercraft One throwable float cushion is required by the state and county law. Children 14 years of age and under must have a life jacket on when they are on or in any watercraft. Adults must have a life jacket available in their craft for each person at all times. The law does not require the adult to wear them at all times.

Boat Rentals

Boat rentals are from dawn to dusk the same day. Life jackets for each person, and one throwable cushion, are required with any watercraft rental from the resort. Boats or paddle bikes and canoes must be returned to our marina docks each night so that they can be accounted for and to protect them from wind and wave damage.
